150m2 of exposed aggregate polished concrete with a satin finish was applied throughout the entire house, utilizing 10mm aggregate in Worcester.

The property underwent a renovation, transforming a bungalow with a substantial front extension. Wet underfloor heating was installed across all floors to efficiently heat the expansive open space.

Conventional 10mm concrete was poured and placed over three levels in this home, which offers views of the countryside.

We employed diamond grinding to remove the top surface of the floor, exposing the aggregate. The surface was then honed to achieve a satin sheen, followed by the application of a topical sealer to maintain the satin finish.

This project involved extensive manual work due to the numerous rooms and existing fittings, such as fitted wardrobes and bathrooms, where the floor finish was consistently applied.
