Bridgenorth | Polished Concrete Overlay Pastel Pink Aggregate

The customers had previosly pulled up a failing hardwood floor and were exploring new flooring options and needed something hard wearing and easy to clean & after exploring tile options were still undecided.

They were really keen on the idea of polished concrete and called us in to see what we could do with the floor they were currently left with.

We came across a couple of issues with the main one being a difference in floor levels between existing finishes and the unknown of what asthetics the floor may show when being polished.

We suggested a polished concrete overlay with the option to go and look at a project we completed in the area. The idea of it being customisable and sorting the flooring level issues made the desicion easy with the customer then asking us to sort a pink aggregate to be lightly seeded into the polished concrete overlay to break it up a little so we then made a sample with a quick turn around once the pastel pink aggregates were sourced.

The prep and installtion of the floor was completed within 5 working days and handed back to the customer with minimal disruption and over the moon with a floor they had designed themsleves.
